Kieron Dey co-founded Nobi Group Inc. in 2011 to bring the full range of data science methods to industrial clients. He also provides advanced statistical methods for GCI (a management consulting firm delivering process improvement training and support to manufacturing companies).

Rita Koselka, a veteran journalist with emphasis on innovation, interviewed Dey for a recent Forbes article describing our work with clients in several industries. We then started SDC to meet increasing demand, specifically for statistically designed testing, forecasting and control, as experimentation (especially in website design, e-commerce and digital marketing) had become universal.

Kieron Dey studied mathematics and statistics at Reading University, England and management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, in upstate New York. Started at Hirst Research in London on the experimental staff, then IIT Research Institute in Chicago (another contract research firm) providing statistical expertise to a large, diverse team of scientists and engineers. As an independent statistical consultant, Dey has given equal attention to the management aspects of using powerful analytics strategically, through vast experience with corporate and government executives/directors, in the United States, Canada, South America, Mexico, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Japan.
